The virtual polls for the CAAT-A strike vote are open until December 11 at 3:00 p.m. We urge all full-time and partial load academic employees to vote.

According to the Gandz report in 1988 and the OLRB’s strike vote results provided to OPSEU and the CEC, there have been 9 strike votes in the academic bargaining unit, 6 of which resulted in a strike mandate and 4 strikes.

As we approach the deadline for the strike vote (Dec 9 to 11), we want to provide clear responses and specific information around questions we have received regarding the current state of negotiations and the strike vote.
