Ontario colleges and their full-time academic employees have finalized a new three-year collective agreement, following a mediated arbitration award.

This edition of CEC's newsletter introduces the Full-time Support Staff management bargaining team, which begins negotiations today. It also provides updates on the bargaining status of the other college bargaining units.

The College Employer Council today requested that the Ontario Ministry of Labour issue a no board report, following more than 16 months of unsuccessful negotiations with the bargaining team representing part-time support staff. This request for a no board report has been deemed necessary to break the impasse in negotiations.
