Communication Awards - CEC Recognized by IABC for Academic Bargaining Communications

In 2021, CEC underwent a rebrand and launched a new communications strategy to communicate on behalf of the Colleges on labour relations, compensation, and benefits throughout negotiations with the unionized academic bargaining unit. The communications strategy and results were recently recognized both locally and internationally by IABC.

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is a global association delivering the global standard in communication through educational offerings, certification, awards programs, and more.

In April, IABC Global announced its Global Gold Quill Awards and awarded CEC two Gold Quill awards in the categories of communication management; internal communications, and human resources and benefits communications.

In March 2024 IABC Toronto awarded CEC an Ovation award in the category of communications management; human resources and benefits communication.
